Job Description

The Betsy and Frank H. Goodyear, Jr., B.A. 1966, Internship in the Education Department is an academic-year position for one or two students who have completed training as a Gallery Guide and wish to continue developing their skills in leadership and museum studies. Each intern works with staff in the Education Department for the training of the Gallery Guides and takes an active role in outreach and evaluation of new Guides. Each intern provides crucial logistical and intellectual support to benefit the program and the professional development of all Guides. Meticulous organizational skills, attention to detail, capacity for collaboration, and proven communication skills are required. Applicants should have an excellent work ethic and a readiness to help foster local community relationships, especially in New Haven.

Job Requirements

This internship is open to undergraduates. Past experience in museum education is required. A completed application must include:

Compensation $17.50/hour
