Job Description

The lifeguard must supervise swimming activities and ensure all policies, guidelines and safety procedures are followed. MUST be Red Cross certified - or equivalent certification -  with Lifeguard/CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer.

Must be able to work mid-day, evenings and/or weekends.

 

  
Job Requirements

Must be certified - Current American Red Cross lifeguarding certificate or equivalent. Lifeguards will attend a skills refresher course at the beginning of each semester.

Must be able to work weekdays and/or weekends during campus recreation swim hours and/or special evnets.  Priority need on Tuesdays & Thursdays 10am-1pm

Regular rec swim schedule will be as follows:

  • M-F 10am - 1pm & 6-8pm;
  • Sat. 12-4pm; Sun. 10am-2pm. 

Special events: TBA

 
Compensation $16.75/hour
Job Level FY24: Level III
Hours 6.0 to 19.0 hours per week
