Reliable - Successful candidate will need to be very reliable and communicative with their assigned student. Flexible Schedule - Candidate should understand that some tasks will have high priority and that hours and may change week-to-week and sometimes day-to-day as needed. All hours will be decided ahead of time and the Art Physical Accessibility Assistant is not expected to be “on-call” at all times. Mature - Employee will need to display a high level of discretion, confidentiality and professionalism in dealing with student, staff, and faculty populations. Detail-oriented – Due to safety protocols, the Art Physical Accessibility Assistant will need to be extremely attentive to avoid potential injury. The student worker will need to have completed all safety trainings relevant for the sculpture studios. Knowledge Base- Art Physical Accessibility Assistant will need to be familiar with the school of art and its physical properties, and physically capable of moving relevant art works with appropriate protocols to protect the art and the student’s own health. |
