Responsibilities may include building and validating algorithms/definitions, assessing portability across sites, and prototyping interpretable clinical decision support or audit-and-feedback tools. The student will help define and validate recovery phenotypes using multimodal longitudinal data, including wearable-derived physical activity metrics, life-space mobility measures, and ecological momentary assessments (symptoms, function, mood, fatigue). The student will also develop computable phenotypes that characterize ICU care delivery (e.g., ventilation practices, sedation and weaning processes, complications, care bundles) using structured EHR data. Work may include data cleaning and harmonization, trajectory modeling/clustering, and visualization of recovery patterns over time. |
