Job Description

The Yale Alumni Association is seeking candidates for the role of Marketing & Communications Assistant. 

Responsibilities for this position include:

  • CONTENT CREATION
    • Generating ideas
    • Filming and editing short form videos
    • Photographing key campus scenery
    • Documenting on-campus events (May include nights and weekends)
    • Create social media graphics from pre-built templates
       
  • DIGITIAL ASSET MANAGEMENT
    • Uploading digital assets into a centralized image library
    • Cataloguing existing digital assets
    • Other tasks as assigned in support of the Marketing & Communications team
Job Requirements

The ideal candidate will exhibit the following skills:

  • Experience filming, editing, and producing short form video content
  • Familiarity with Canva or other graphic design platforms
  • Stays on top of social media trends and best practices
  • Thrives in both independent and collaborative settings
  • Friendly, outgoing, and punctual 
  • Ability to adhere to Yale's identity and brand standards

Compensation $17.50/hour
Job Level CY25: Level II
Hours 1.0 to 10.0 hours per week
