The Office of International Students and Scholars (OISS) at Yale University is seeking two dynamic and motivated Graduate International Community Outreach Fellows to join our team for academic year 2026-27. This role is designed to enhance the social and community-building experience for Yale's international student and scholar community by planning and executing social activities throughout the academic year. As a Graduate International Community Outreach Fellow, you will work closely with the OISS Associate Director of Engagement, Assessment, and Operations, and collaborate with other team members to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for international students and scholars. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with a fellow Graduate International Community Outreach Fellow to plan and execute one or two social and community-building events each month (September-May) for Yale's international community, with support from the OISS Associate Director of Engagement, Assessment, and Operations.
- Create and advertise events on Yale Connect, manage event communications, and ensure timely updates on the platform.
- Potentially lead one of the daily English Conversation Groups for beginner and intermediate ESL learners.
- Work alongside Outreach & Support Fellows to effectively advertise your events and increase participation.
- Assist in other OISS programs, including day trips, large community events, and orientation programs as needed.
- Participate in weekly team meetings to set goals, review progress, and strategize on upcoming events and initiatives.
