THIS POSITION REQUIRES FLUENCY IN SPANISH QUALIFIED CANDIDATES MUST BE ABLE TO RECRUIT NATIVE SPANISH SPEAKERS FOR RESEARCH IN A HOSPITAL SETTING The maternal health research study entitled "Trauma informed approach to timely detection and management of early postpartum hypertension" has a paid student position available from the beginning of Spring semester through the end of Summer. The student intern will assist with various study related activities, including in-person study recruitment, data collection, and data entry. This position is housed at the Yale School of Public Health. Most of the work will be conducted on-site at Yale New Haven Hospital. Responsibilities will include: - Face-to-face recruitment of postpartum patients at Yale New Haven Health
- Pre-screening Yale New Haven Health patients via hospital records
- Data collection and entry
- Phone call follow-up interviews with research participants
- Other research support tasks (such as printing documents, checking inventory, organizing & preparing supplies, mailing postcards, etc)
Typical shift/schedule: 10-20 hrs per week during the school year 1-3 shifts per week starting at 8:30am |
