Job Description

Anoles are a diverse lineage of lizards distributed throughout the tropical and subtropical regions of the Western Hemisphere. Caribbean anole lizards are widely known as a classic example of adaptive radiation. Students engaged in the work will learn animal handling, lizard husbandry, lizard feeding, and inputting mass data. The lab will be housing ~70 lizards from the Dominican Republic that are being used for physiology experiments. The student will get to be a part of a dynamic, and highly collaborative, team of researchers. The ideal start date is May 20 until August 16, with the potential to continue in the winter of 2025. Job Requirements

The student must demonstrate a skill set for attention to detail, time management, and be comfortable handling reptiles and amphibians. The student must also be willing and able to go in on weekends. We would love for the intested person to be available during winter break.

Compensation $16.50/hour
