Job Description	We are seeking to hire a current, or graduating master’s or PhD student to work with ELTI as an Online Course Assistant to support the delivery and behind-the-scenes management of ELTI’s Tropical Forest Landscapes: Conservation, Restoration & Sustainable Use (TFL) online certificate program - Capstone course for participants in Asia, Africa, and Latin America (https://tropicalrestorationcertificate.yale.edu/). The Online Course Assistant will have the opportunity to interact with a global network of environmental professionals and gain skills in capacity development and e-learning management. Candidates must demonstrate professionalism, adaptability, and enthusiasm to work on environmental causes and capacity development in the tropics. The Online Course Assistant will: Provide assistance and support to the ELTI staff involved in course development and delivery, including: Preparation of the course platforms on Canvas and related course documentation; Support with presentations and video editing; and, Attend bi-weekly planning meetings (schedule TBD) and weekly live sessions (Wednesdays 9:00-10:15am Eastern US Time).
Job Requirements	• Prior training or experience related to tropical forest ecology, conservation and restoration, land use management, community engagement, climate change, political ecology, environmental governance, or related themes. • Excellent time management and communication skills • Ability to quickly learn and use new software and tools • Professionalism, positive attitude, and ability to work in a multi-cultural context • Experience with Zoom, Canvas, and Microsoft Suite • Prior experience with teaching, facilitation, or e-learning preferred, but not required
