Position Focus: The Partnerships Research Assistant will support outreach and building external relationships for the Yale Program on Climate Change Communication. In this role, the Research Assistant will help conduct market research, develop outreach materials, and message experiment templates in support of the Partnerships program’s work. Key responsibilities: - Support the Partnerships strategy and outreach to diverse climate organizations, ranging from large institutions to small grassroots groups.
- Develop outreach and marketing materials for the Partnership program including case studies, presentations, and key messages.
- Develop tools for partner organizations to run digital and field experiments, such as message test blueprints.
- Test and deploy new tools for partner organizations.
- Support tracking our success through the Salesforce Constituent Relationship Management system.
- Further develop materials for consulting and training in climate communication strategy, tactics, and tools to improve the communication and engagement capacity of partner organizations and the broader climate change community.
- With the YPCCC research team, help assess the utility of new YPCCC research products, tools and data.
Desired experience: - Experience in issue or political campaigns, including field and/or digital campaigns.
- Experience with online message testing using social media platforms such as Facebook.
- Passion for building a more effective and equitable climate change community.
