A student programmer is sought to assist in the development of an online neuroinformatics resource. ModelDB, is a discovery tool for computational neuroscience models and currently has source code and metadata for over 1900 simulation studies. It is powered by a Python/Django backend with a MongoDB database.
Fluent Python skills are required as is a willingness to learn and to try new programming tasks. Familiarity with Django, HTML, JavaScript, and/or basic neuroscience concepts is a plus, but can be taught.
