We are seeking a Yale undergraduate to support Public Programs in the Education Department of the Yale University Art Gallery. This position will primarily help produce forms of digital engagement, including promotional videos and E-Gallery Talks, an ongoing series of short, focused videos in which artists, staff, and students respond to the Yale University Art Gallery’s collection and initiatives.The candidate must have experience with video editing on iMovie or a similar software program. This position will perform office duties, including updating Excel-based schedules, and scheduling software programs, museum databases, and calendars. This candidate will also have the opportunity to help research, write about, organize, and evaluate Gallery programs, such as talks, readings, music, film screenings, performances, studio programs, and lectures, they will be asked to hang posters around campus and the community, and they will be expected to attend programs and help welcome audience members and facilitate reflection. Works closely with the Curator of Programs, Program Fellow, and Program Coordinator as well as Gallery Staff. |
