Graduate and Professional Student Event Staff G&P Student Event Staff offer year-long assistance and support for high-volume Yale College events. G&P Student Event Staff responsibilities include: communicating with undergraduate students, being an active host and bystander, and in certain situations, de-escalating and facilitating responses to medical emergencies. Must be able to coordinate with and take direction from organizers, event security, administration, and other event staff. Requires attendance at late-night weekend events. Typical events occur Fridays and Saturdays, 9PM to 12AM, with some exceptions for events beginning earlier in the day or later in the night. Hours are based on campus event schedule, most of which are held in the evening or late night (e.g., First-Year Formal, Spring Fling, Senior Class events, etc.). Workers are given shifts based on their availability. A 1-hour training will be held for this position, with options to attend a session on Wednesday, April 16th from 4-5PM or Thursday, April 17th from 4-5PM. *This hiring cycle, we will be prioritizing applicants who will be able to support Yale's Spring Fling Concert on Saturday, April 26th, from ~2-10PM.
