The Office of Facilities & Campus Development is in need of a School of Engineering or School of Architecture student intern, having completed first, second, or third year, to assist with presentations, planning analysis, data updates, project administration, as well as small space design. Other job related activities will include: - Research related to Yale projects that may include, past building projects, historic records, space use and space conditions.
- Research and comparative analysis related to peer institutions, regulatory frameworks and other external sources.
- General campus field research to photo document aspects of the built environment, including building interior and exteriors, directional signage, finish materials, and furnishings in various buildings. Organize information and compile photos and floorplans into a coherent Power Point or PDF report.
- Attendance at project meetings/ site visits and associated administrative follow up as directed by Office of Facilities staff.
- Updates to space management data as directed by Office of Facilities staff.
Required Software Skills: AutoCAD, Bluebeam, PowerPoint, Excel. Revit, Rhino and Holobuilder skills are preferred but not required. |
