Job Description

Recruitment Coordinators are integral members of the Undergraduate Admissions team. Students work closely with the Director of Recruitment and other admissions officers on a variety of projects for the admissions office. These projects involve outreach with high school students about applying to Yale and other selective colleges and connecting with admitted students. Recruitment Coordinators also play an essential role in on-campus events for admitted students such as Bulldog Days, Yale Engineering and Science Scholar programming, Multicultural Open House (MOH, and Yale in MOHtion (our prospective student fly-in program).

Job Requirements

Candidates should possess strong written and verbal communication skills; strong public speaking skills; the ability to interact with a variety of people and personalities; the ability to work collaboratively and in a team environment. Possess and maintain satisfactory academic standing. Demonstrate maturity to understand the public relations nature of the position (i.e. maintain discretion and confidentiality), significant professional responsibility, enthusiasm for Yale, and the ability to honestly reflect upon and articulate your college experience.

*Please note that applicants for the job must be current Yale undergraduates in the Class of 2028 or Class of 2029 (Yale College sophomores or first years).*

Compensation $16.50/hour
