Can student employees work remotely?
The below information defines when a student can work remotely. All work arrangements must be discussed with and approved by the student employee's supervisor.
Domestic Students
- Currently enrolled students or students on an approved leave of absence can work remotely within or outside the US.
- Students who have graduated can only work remotely within the US.
- Incoming students can work remotely within the US.
International Students
- Currently enrolled students can work remotely within and outside the US.
- Students on an approved leave of absence can work remotely outside of the US.
- Students who have graduated can work remotely with an approved OPT for work within the US.
- Incoming students can work remotely within the US.
