Welcome to the Student Employment website.
If you will be a new student employee, one document that you must complete once you have been hired into a position is the Federal I-9 Employment Eligibility Form. This form is a two-step process.
Step One: In your hire approval email from student.employment@yale.edu you will be instructed on how to complete the online form in Workday.
Step Two: You will need to bring valid documentation per the federal regulations to an I-9 Center for verification of your employment eligibility
Failure to complete the Federal I-9 within three business days of your hire start date will result in termination of your position.
